Colloquium with Henning Wagenbreth and Sophia Martineck (Germany)

Henning Wagenbreth works as an illustrator and graphic designer, understanding manual and industrial printing techniques as a fundamental part of his work. He has illustrated and designed a variety of multi-format projects such as books, posters, newspapers and magazines. He teaches as a professor of illustration at the University of the Arts in Berlin.
Sophia Martineck studied visual communication and illustration at the University of the Arts in Berlin, Hunter’s College in New York City and the Liverpool School of Art and Design. In recent years he has worked for a wide range of international clients, teaching illustration at the University of Applied Sciences in Wismar.
It is a pleasure and a unique opportunity to be able to talk to them in an easy going way, both of their extensive and recognised work and of the many disciplines in which they are immersed: artistic projects, animation films, theatre, music … and a long list of others that we will discover throughout the talk.
